  1. Thank you for sharing this video. It's simple and straightforward, and a great introduction for any student. One thing that was particularly helpful was the advice for keeping comments positive and encouraging. Our students need this behavior modeled for them too, and blogging is a great way to introduce digital citizenship.

  2. It is so important we as adults model our expectations for our students. Digital citizenship is so important and I find so many educators modeling the wrong behaviors for their students. Your post gave me an idea. I should do a DC course with them like I do with students. This video is great. I am going to share it with teachers and students.

  3. It is a great idea to get younger students involved with using tech tools because they are skills they will need to know in this world. It has already been mentioned but teaching proper digital citizenship skills is a must and starting early will help them succeed. It may also help to prevent future negative online issues they could encounter.

    1. I agree with teaching digital citizenship skill early, especially since young kids are all over social media!

  4. This is a great video! While it touches on the basics of blogging, I love how they include that it's public and that it should remain positive. This is a very important lesson, especially for 2nd graders. I also like the wording and colors they used. It makes it more targeted to elementary school students.
